STOTA CERAMICS is the tiles manufacturer since 2010. Our special shapes tiles are made in Foshan which is the most famous tiles production area of China. Foshan ceramics is first-class in the production scale, technical level, enterprise management and product matching, which is the trend of China's building ceramics.We will more concern on the tiles desig, finished, quality and our service. While some suppliers' productions are made in Fujian. Their quality is not comparable to ours but the price. But as we all know how much u pay and what is the product you will get, that is fair enough in the world.  

Stricter quality control

In the same batch of the special shapes tiles , will produce a bit different original sizes of tiles and shades. Also we need to check the straightness and the defect of the surface. So we will divide our tiles to different sizes and shades, and if the perfect one we put AAA grade to set the level, if any defect, they we will put the AA grade.So it won’t massed up. But fujian one they won’t do like this strict, just pack all together. Our factory will strictly control the quality. The products are strictly divided into grades, sizes and color codes. Some factories do not strictly control the quality of mixed sizes, colors and specifications.

Tiles body differences

Our tiles firing time is longer, the whiter represents the less impurity; the thicker the brick is, the stronger it is not easy to be damaged; the lower the water absorption rate of the brick, the better the quality of the ceramic tile.In other factories, the firing time is short, the brick is beige, and it is easy to rot and break.

Glaze differences

Look at the surface of ceramic tile: because the surface of glazed ceramic tile is fired by applying glaze, the evenness and fullness of glaze are very important. The surface can be touched by hand without burr.Our tiles are double glazes with better raw material, smooth without any pinholes. And other suppliers’ is single glaze and rough on the finished. Also, our products are easier to clean and have positive color. Some factories' products are difficult to clean and will appear black.

Pattern differences

Printer technology will affect the clarity of the patterns. Our tiles patterns are more clearer and the right colour. And others’ would be unclear and more black.

Packing differences

Our packing is protected by carton and foam, and the heat shrinkable film is wrapped around the pallet, so it would be more safe. Then the products of other factories are made of very thin cardboard boxes and simple packages. They are easy to break.

Other differences

The water absorption rate of our products is 1%, and their water absorption rate is 6- 8%. Moreover, we can produce them by OEM with a capacity of 500 square meters even less. They need 3000 square meters for MOQ . We are more flexible in production, and we have quality assurance, but they don't. We can grantee our products quality and will take the responsibility if any issues. But they won’t.

The below are other methods to help u to choose and differ the quality.

1. Look at the appearance, first of all, the color of ceramic tile must be uniform, and the surface flatness is good. Discrimination amplification is very simple, that is to draw several pieces randomly from a box and see if there are obvious color difference, deformation and lack of angle and other defects.

2. Listen to the sound is to hear whether the hardness of the ceramic tile is up to standard, because the ceramic tile is to withstand people's trampling, so the hardness is a very important indicator. Place the tile vertically and tap the middle and lower part of the tile with your finger. If the sound is clear, the tile is of high quality. If the sound is stuffy, it means that the hardness of the tile may not be enough, and it will be broken easily in the future.

3. Before choosing tiles, be sure to bring a ruler in the bag to measure the tiles. Generally, the tiles we choose in our house are quadrilateral. What we need to do is to measure whether the length of four sides is equal, and then measure whether the length of two diagonal lines is equal. Of course, the smaller the error of the tiles, the better, so that in the future of paving and pasting more convenient and beautiful. It's hard to see if we use the naked eye alone. It's more accurate with a ruler.

4. We've all studied physics, and we know that if two objects have the same volume, the more dense they are, the heavier they are. Ceramic tile also can use this method to compare two same specification of ceramic tile, weigh with hand or weigh weight that is relatively better. It is proved that the density of this brick is large, and the ceramic powder is enough, so it is more solid and durable.

5. The water absorption degree of the floor tile determines the anti fouling ability of the ceramic tile. The lower the water absorption rate is, the more dirt resistant the ceramic tile is. We can do a simple test on the back of the ceramic tile, if the water is quickly sucked in, it proves that the density of the ceramic tile is not high, which is not a good brick. On the contrary, if the water enters the tile slowly, the tile quality is good.

6. The weight of the brick: because the ligand of the ceramic tile is made by grinding and pressing the clay, its pressing strength determines its compactness. The closer the pressing is, the higher its density is. The same size of ceramic tile will be, the higher its weight will be.
